Incyt

Incyt is a hip-hop artist from Blantyre, Malawi. His passion for music was triggered by his love for poetry writing. He worked hard to make his music to be appreciated back home and beyond the boarders. He hogged the limelight in 2004 following the release of his single ‘Wats Real’. The song featured the late Zimbabwean rapper Mizchif. It appeared in his debut album ‘Making the Mark’.

His music is a reflection of life in the streets. It touches on issues of alcohol, sex, violence, politics, romance and spirituality. In 2007, he released a mixtape titled ‘265’. It had the appearance of some of the country's favorite rappers like Lomwe, Basement, Nameless, Tay Grin, Prolifik, St Bosseratti, Daredevils, Tappa 22 and Lawi. The album heightened his fame in the hip-hop community.
