Born 22 January 1991, GuySwift (real name Guy Rutembesa) is a songwriter, hip-hop and an actor based in Los Angeles, USA. He was born to Rutembesa Kanobana Innocent and Rutembesa Bamurangirwe Latitia. He is the youngest in a family of two. He attended his high school in La Colobier and Lycee de Kigali. He later joined University at St Lawrence University in Uganda. His passion for music began when he was a teenager. His songs are mainly related to love and relationships. While in the US, he compiled most of his songs on a mixtape titled ‘On My Way’.
