Darryl Loxton Music

Darryl Loxton is a Sound Engineer, Co-Owner of a Record Label, Producer and DJ who was born in Johannesburg and at only 9 days old, moved to Port Elizabeth where he was later raised in the Northern Areas of Port Elizabeth.
Loxton always knew music was his calling, his family is a very musically inclined family and he would always be their “go to sound guy” as they would always ask him to connect the sound and select the playlist since a very young age. It was here where he first became known as a DJ. As his passion for music grew, he then started exploring other avenues such as making his own music, releasing mix tapes and went on to playing for bigger crowds.

Loxton fell in love with synth infused music, all which became a big influence in his productions. The
music he produces often includes local vocalists on various genres, he has worked with the likes of iFani, Thoko, Micayla Jean, Lisa Love, MRB (Cape Town) and even Idol’s finalists Bevin Samuels and Terra
Cox,Micayla Oelofse. Producing music lies close to Loxton’s heart, he feels that playing his own music is just as important. The instantaneous response from the crowd is what is most rewarding and emphasizes that this is what he strives for most, to keep the people happy and entertained.
