Bio
Delah Dube is a visionary artist who uses music, poetry and creative direction to express herself and impact the world. She explores various themes such as afro-futurism, societal flaws, sensuality and healing in her art, which is wise, emotional, humorous and courageous.
She is a witty writer, charismatic performer and soulful artist and this is reflected in her music, style and presence. Her music is a smooth and powerful blend of Afro-fusion, alternative RnB and Urban folk. She has performed solo and with other creatives in over four countries. Her latest project was a conceptual musical performance called “Delah Dube’s African fairytale” which explored African spirituality and a search for identity through music, drama and poetry. Her mission is to experiment with eclectic sounds and visuals for the sake of innovation and play. She is a voice of her generation that needs to be heard.
Delah has showcased her music and poetry on notable stages such as Tedx, Sofar Sounds, Commonwealth Youth Forum (Kigali) Women, Wine & Words in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, Sawubona Music Jam in South Africa and Musika Na Kipaji in DRC.
