South African Afropop singer Sbahle has released a new single titled ‘Some More’, featuring Afro-soul artists Nhlanhla Mafu and Naima Kay.

The song combines Afropop and Afro-soul influences and explores themes of love, longing and commitment through harmonies and lyrical storytelling.
“As a lover girl, I love speaking about love and the song is also an expression of love in a romantic manner,” she said.
The track also features a verse by Mafu that reflects on enduring relationships despite criticism and doubt.
According to Sbahle, the collaboration with Mafu and Kay holds personal significance because both artists influenced her musical development.
“I grew up listening to most of these artists and in some way they have helped me hone my creativity,” she said.
Sbahle described her sound as “broad, powerful and intentional”, adding that her music is created with a focus on emotional connection.
“With every song, I aim to touch people’s hearts individually,” she said. “Everything I create is calculated and very intentional.”
The release coincides with the rollout of Sbahle’s latest project, ‘Iscoco Sami’, which was released on 15 May. The title translates to “My Crown” and centres on themes of growth, confidence and self-worth.
Born and raised in Umlazi, KwaZulu-Natal, Sbahle began her music career under the guidance of her grandfather, who was also a musician. She later gained recognition through songs including ‘Emlanjeni’ and ‘Ngiyazifela’.
‘Some More’ is available on digital streaming platforms.
