Listen to Lowfeye’s debut album honouring late mother
South African rapper Lowfeye has released his debut album, NOSANGE, marking a significant milestone in his career.

The project, named after his late mother, reflects a personal narrative centred on his upbringing and artistic development. “With this project, I want to tell a story. I want people to understand where I come from and how I grew up into the person I am today,” Lowfeye said.
The album follows a series of earlier releases that introduced its themes and direction. Tracks such as ‘Mission Man’, ‘Mabulala Amakhosi’ and ‘Trauma’ (featuring Ciniso) highlight a more assertive style, while the album’s title points to a more reflective and personal tone.
Lowfeye, a member and co-founder of the Qwellers collective, has built a growing profile within South African hip hop through collaborations and solo work. His previous releases include the EP Days Before Nosange, issued in January 2026, which featured appearances from Priddy Ugly and 25K and accumulated more than one million streams across digital platforms. He has also featured on projects by established artists, including Sjava, Riky Rick and Emtee, contributing to releases such as 'Boss Zonke Forever' and 'DIY 3 (Deluxe)'.
Born Sibusiso Blessing Sibisi, Lowfeye’s music blends elements of hip hop, Afro-soul and Afro-pop. His debut album arrives amid growing attention around his work and signals a transition into a new phase of his career.
NOSANGE is available on major streaming platforms.
