Music production

• Support is available for:
• Pre-production and studio rental
• Mastering costs
• Graphic design
• Session fees
• Pressing
• Catering and accommodation during recording sessions

Eligibility:

• Must be a SAMPRA member
• Must have earned at least R3 000 from SAMPRA
• Projects must take place between 1 June 2026 – 31 May 2027

Required documents:

• Motivational letter and artist profile
• Copy of ID
• CK documents (for record companies)
• Detailed budget with quotations

Travel & touring

Funding covers costs for:

• Road travel, car hire, and accommodation
• Visa application fees
• Per diems
• Band fees

Eligibility:

• SAMPRA member
• Earned at least R3 000 from SAMPRA
• Invited or booked to perform locally or internationally
• Required travel documents

Required documents:

• Motivational letter and artist profile
• Promoter invitation letter
• Copy of passport (international) or ID (local)
• Budget with quotations

• South African recording artists or promoters
• Events hosted in South Africa
