Produced by multi-award-winning producer Fella, the track blends synth-pop, R&B, and Afrobeats into an up-tempo, romantic anthem encouraging self-belief and decisive action in both love and life.
Shot by Masian Pictures, the video interprets the song’s core message through chess-themed visuals that symbolise life’s strategic decisions. MoOzy appears as a player navigating a chessboard, making bold moves, facing challenges, and pressing forward with determination. The black-and-white aesthetic reinforces themes of focus and vision, while supporting characters represent a tight-knit circle backing his ambitions.
“The chess pieces are about decisions made during life’s challenges,” MoOzy said. “The gambling scene represents life’s uncertainties and taking risks, just like the pawn’s movement reflects personal growth and progress.”
The track is rapidly gaining momentum across Southern Africa. In its second week on Botswana’s Yarona FM Y20 chart, ‘No Time’ climbed to number 14, while also receiving growing airplay in South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Zambia.
With its genre-blending sound and cinematic visuals, ‘No Time’ cements Jordan MoOzy’s status as a distinctive Gen Z voice on the Afropolitan music scene.
