Call for proposals: British Council consultant
The British Council sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) Arts team seeks a consultancy company with extensive networks in Africa, the UK and Europe to identify opportunities for partnerships that will facilitate SSA Arts programmes to scale up and subsequently have a better and wider-reaching impact on the creative industry partners it works with.
According to the British Council, the purpose of this fixed-term consultancy is to help the SSA Arts senior management team to create opportunities, develop and deliver a year-long business development portfolio, which is strategically aligned with the Global Arts and SSA cultural engagement strategies.
“The consultant will be liaising as required with the existing partnership team in the UK and in local offices as appropriate,” the British Council said. “The consultancy will also be contributing to the cluster and regional programme based planning process and looking for potential opportunities beyond the current networks of partners the British Council currently holds.”
