SA: Red Bull Music Studios collabo EP drops 5 June
Red Bull Music Studios in Cape Town, South Africa, will release a four-track EP made under the Red Bull Made In 72 Hours project.
The EP was recorded remotely at different artists’ home studios following the launch of the project in April. It will be available on all major music streaming platforms.
The EP features Gina Jeanz, Moonchild Sanelly, Aymos Shili, Theology HD, Mark Akol, Not Benjamin, Nalu, Hersh Snyders, Juzzy, Pierre Johnson, Avi Subban and The Lazarusman.
The tracks include ‘Isegazini’, ‘Tonight’, ‘Mind Games’ and ‘Eat, Pray, Love’. Gina Jeanz and Moonchild Sanelly appear on ‘Tonight’ and ‘Isegazini’, respectively.
Gina Jeanz believes collaborations between artists is more important now than ever. “The experience really highlighted why collaboration is so important and why we should continue to do so within the industry,” she said.
The EP was produced by DJ and producer Pierre Johnson from his Cape Town home studio.
"It was really exciting and fun being part of Red Bull Made In 72 Hours,” he said. “Teaming up with The Lazaruman and Avi Subban was the perfect match and we managed to create something beautiful with Red Bull.”
