Ras Vuyo

Ras Vuyo is a Cape Town-based producer, composer, songwriter, and sound engineer. He released his debut album, Diversion, in 2018. With years of experience in the reggae music industry, Ras Vuyo has produced and composed music for both South African and international reggae artists, including Teba, Crosby, King Kong, Prince Malachi, Peter Spence, Jimmy Riley, Yellowman, Freddie McGregor, and many others.

Diversion was nominated for Best Reggae Album at the South African Music Awards in 2019 and also received a nomination from Reggae France for Best African Reggae Album. In 2023, Ras Vuyo released his second album, Love & Unity, which features both local and international artists, such as Crosby Bolani, Bulelani Black B, Jack Radics, Isha Bel, Nazamba, and the Meditators. Love & Unity was nominated for Best Reggae Album at the 2024 South African Music Awards.
