Love Itoya, winner of the 2024 BEFFTA Award for Best UK African Artist, is a London-based, Greek-Nigerian Pop Fusion artist known as a showstopper, with powerhouse vocals, magnetic stage presence, and a fearless blend of Afro, soul, pop, and contemporary sounds. Born in Thessaloniki, Greece, to Nigerian parents of Edo and Esan heritage, Love brings fierce authenticity and empowering messages to everything she creates. Her music explores themes of confidence, identity, healing, and self-worth, delivered with emotion, rhythm, and soul.
In April 2025, she released “Money Won’t Buy Peace”, a vibrant Afropop anthem about choosing inner peace over materialism. It followed her return single “Space”, performed at the Ghana Music Awards UK, and the bold “Classic”, a collaboration with Virtuo for Black History Month.
Her latest single, “Like I Do” is a pop track with Afro essence, full of bounce, confidence, and summer shine. Produced by The Breed (Anderson .Paak) and featuring Afro-Italian duo Two Tigers, it’s a mood-boosting anthem built to turn up the energy.
On June 2, 2025, Love had a viral moment at London’s King’s Cross station when Ciara handed her the mic during a DJ AG Online performance. Her vocals stunned the crowd and lit up social media a powerful co-sign from a legend that sparked major buzz and new momentum.
Love has lit up stages across the UK and Europe, from Brixton Jamm and The Ritzy to major festivals like Klaipeda Jazz Festival, Pleven Jazz, and Korce Beer Festival.
