Bio
King Smasher (born Shaundeon Afrika) is a rapper, singer and songwriter from South Africa.
King Smasher is also an actor and presenter as well as a performing arts graduate. His music is a fusion of hip hop, R&B, reggae and African sounds. In 2016 he released a mixtape called 'Maturity' followed by a 2018 EP featuring his producer Shaney Jay.
He has performed at many shows such as Wynberg Mardi Gras Festival, Cape Town Lights Parade, Cape Town City Hall, Life We Chose Concert In Swaziland, Cape Town Community Chest, Mitchell’s Plain DSTV Festival and ANC Community Production.
He has opened up for Sho Baraka and has worked with such artists as Ezee Mimo, Bee Stays Noble, DJ Eazy(GoodHope FM), Recruit, Feroh Royal, CJay, DOEP, Switch, Calliber and Camillo Lombard.
