Watch: Kid Tini features Styles P in new video

Titled ‘Get Money’, the video also features local rapper Stogie T. The track is currently available on streaming platforms like iTunes, Deezer and Google Play.

“It was a great experience working with both guys and I learned so much in terms of lyricism,” the 20-year-old rapper said. "'Get Money’ is definitely not the type of song you play once. People will be decrypting the bars even 10 years from now. I also hear new things with each listen.”

The video, which was sitting at more than 79 000 YouTube views at the time of writing, is getting positive feedback from fans on social media.  

“Bro Kid Tini you're the future of hip hop, we will support you and give you the recognition you deserve,” a fan wrote on Twitter.

“We want to hear more sounds like these. My ears are getting more thirstier to your music,” another fan wrote on Facebook.

Kid Tini, who is signed to Ambitiouz Entertainment, starts the video with the verse: “Yo, get money, get money, get money, get it/Every enemy turned to a memory, isn’t it?"

Styles P, meanwhile, adds some syncretic flavour with the following powerful rap bars: “Filthy, can't be clean with detergent/I come from New York, mom come from Durban.”
