South African singer Tyla and American rapper Future and have released a new collaboration titled ‘Game Time’, the latest single from the Official FIFA World Cup 2026 album.
Future and Tyla.
The track was released through SALXCO UAM and Def Jam Recordings as part of the ongoing rollout for the tournament's official soundtrack project ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026.
Produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Cirkut, ‘Game Time’ combines hip hop and pop influences, featuring brass arrangements, percussion and vocals from both artists. The song is themed around the anticipation and excitement associated with the world's biggest football tournament.
“The World Cup is a global stage. We made a record to match that energy. Now you know it's Game Time,” Future said.
Tyla described her involvement in the project as a significant moment in her career.
“Being part of the Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Album feels like a full circle moment for a girl from South Africa. Let's go Bafana Bafana!!” she said.
The release follows earlier singles from the album, including ‘Goals’ by LISA, Anitta and Rema, as well as ‘Illuminate’ by Jessie Reyez and Elyanna.
Organisers say the album is intended to reflect the international nature of the FIFA World Cup by bringing together artists from different countries and musical genres. The project is being released in stages ahead of the tournament, which will be hosted by Canada, Mexico and the United States in 2026.
Future is one of the most commercially successful figures in contemporary hip-hop, with multiple Grammy Awards and several chart-topping albums to his name. His recent projects include ‘WE DON'T TRUST YOU’, ‘WE STILL DON'T TRUST YOU’ and ‘MIXTAPE PLUTO’.
Tyla has emerged as one of South Africa's most prominent global music exports. The singer gained international recognition with her breakthrough hit ‘Water’, which became the first song by an African solo artist to surpass one billion streams on Spotify. She has since won multiple international awards, including two Grammy Awards.
‘Game Time’ is now available on digital streaming platforms as anticipation builds for the FIFA World Cup 2026 and the release of the full official tournament album.
