Sjava brings 10-year celebration tour to Middelburg after sold-out shows
South African musician Sjava is set to bring his 10 Year Celebration Tour to Middelburg, Mpumalanga, on 1 May 2026 following sold-out performances in Cape Town and Durban earlier this year.

The concert will take place at the Steve Tshwete Banquet Hall at 6pm, with tickets available through Webtickets. The tour commemorates a decade since the artist’s debut in the South African music industry and revisits music released throughout his career, including projects issued under his independent label, 1020 Cartel.
According to organisers, the performances are structured around key moments from Sjava’s catalogue, including material from projects such as Isina Muva, Umqhele and Umsebenzi Deluxe. Songs expected to feature in the setlist include Amafu, uMama, Confession, Umcebo, Balele, Amavaka and Uyena.
Sjava said the tour reflects both personal and professional milestones reached over the past decade.
“Ngijabule kakhulu and I am grateful more than anything. Ten years akusiyona into encane, especially in this industry. A lot changes and a lot tests you,” he said. “Taking The Sjava 10 Year Celebration Tour to Middleburg means a lot because it’s about sharing this moment with the people who’ve been part of the journey and those who are just joining it now.”
The artist also referred to the response to previous tour dates, which included sold-out performances in Cape Town and Durban, as well as upcoming sold-out shows in Pretoria and Johannesburg.
“My Cape Town and Durban tour dates in March and April were sold out. Pretoria and Johannesburg showed love and those upcoming shows in June and October sold out too, ngokushesha and I’m grateful for that,” he said.
Sjava added that the anniversary tour differs from his recent live performances, which focused on individual albums.
“We’ve spent the last two years touring the different albums individually and it was great but I felt that this milestone was one that deserved a deep dive into the entire discography,” he said. “It won’t be easy because the catalogue has a lot of songs, but we’ll try and cover as much as is humanly possible each night.”
The remaining dates on the tour include performances in Pretoria on 15 June and Johannesburg on 23 October, both of which have already sold out.
