DRC: BabyDaiz releases new Afro-fusion single ‘Coupé’

The song centres on themes of ambition, movement and celebration, with the title referencing ideas associated with speed, success and contemporary lifestyle culture.

According to the artist, the single was created to capture a sense of confidence and personal progress.

“‘Coupé’ is about energy, movement, and elevation. It’s that feeling of stepping into your moment, owning your space, and celebrating how far you’ve come. I wanted to create something that people don’t just listen to, they feel and move to,” BabyDaiz said.

He added: “The confidence and staying on the move, never still.”

The release follows a series of tracks from the artist, including ‘Enemies’, ‘Top! Masambe’, and ‘Allez Tobina’, which have contributed to his growing audience on digital platforms.

BabyDaiz is known for combining hip-hop elements with African musical styles and other international influences in his work.
