Mo Ngwana

Born between the dusty roads of Mafikeng, all the way down Hammanskraal and raised in Pretoria, Mabopane, Anthony Mooketsa Serage, known by his stage name, "Mo Ngwana", has Over 10 years overly dedicated to pouring his energy and lyricism to his work, Independently He is amongst the top 5 undiscovered rappers still on the rise in the commercial sector. Having started all this in high school, and actually winning a gold medal in the Afrikaans Expo all from rap. It was further more around the years 2011-2013 when he met up and started pushing his musical journey with actor and musician Bugzito and Lolli Dekeni (Emtee Records artist).

Mo Ngwana later made a breakthrough in working within the Kalawa-Jazz platforms under DJ Buckz and the former group Uhuru, having worked alongside, legends such as Stoan Seete, DJ Mono-T and DJ Maphorisa amongst a few, and opening for big names such as the former Tear Gas and Cash-time group in the 2012 Hansa Pilsner tour. Mo Ngwana further went on to collaborate his music in the theatrical world, where The South African State-Theater opened it's doors to working with the artist under Usuthu's Artist In Motion(AIM). It was there he hosted The 2014 Youth Expression Cado Awards, alongside the beautiful Kefilwe Mello. Mo Ngwana has ever since been a 'big brother' and one of the most influential voices to pave the way for what is street rap hiphop music in and around Pretoria Mabopane.
