Tyla wins Outstanding International Song at 2026 NAACP Image Awards
South African singer Tyla has won the Outstanding International Song award at the 2026 NAACP Image Awards for her single ‘Is It’.

The award was announced yesterday as part of a group of non-televised categories ahead of the main ceremony, which will air as a two-hour live broadcast on 28 February. The event will take place at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium and will be broadcast at 8pm ET/PT on BET. This year’s theme is We See You.
Tyla secured the award in a competitive category that included Skip Marley of Jamaica and Nigerian artists Burna Boy, Davido and Tiwa Savage.
The NAACP Image Awards recognise achievements of people of colour across music, film, television, music and literature. While several winners have already been announced, the remaining categories will be revealed during the televised ceremony.
