SA: Sun-El Musician shares fourth studio album Under the Sun
South African producer and composer Sun-El Musician has released his fourth studio album, Under the Sun, marking his latest full-length release featuring a wide range of local and international collaborators.

The album brings together long-standing collaborators Msaki, Ami Faku and Mthunzi, alongside artists including Zakes Bantwini, Chronical Deep, Youngr, Heavy-K, Thakzin, Manana, Nasty C and Deborah Cox. The tracklist also includes contributions from emerging artists Monna Hela, Mavhungu Mueda, Sai Hle and Tefo Foxx.
Ahead of the album’s release, Sun-El Musician has shared a sampler to coincide with the South African summer season. The sampler includes tracks such as ‘Umlungu Wami’ featuring Zakes Bantwini, ‘Imali’ with Ami Faku and Tefo Foxx, ‘Muloro’ featuring Thakzin and Mavhungu Mueda, and ‘Another Minute’ with Youngr. Previously released singles ‘Koyika’ and ‘The Rise’ also appear on the sampler.
Speaking about the release, Sun-El Musician said: “This summer sampler is a reflection of where my heart is creatively warm, intentional, and open. I hope listeners feel the love and honesty behind every sound.”
Under the Sun follows a body of work that has positioned Sun-El Musician as a central figure in South African electronic and dance music, with a production style that blends soulful house elements with broader African musical influences.
