Atmos Blaq

Samukelo Shembe, better known as Atmos Blaq, is a South African DJ and producer. He specialises in the genres of AfroTech and 3 Step and has made a name for himself within the industry, getting dubbed as the Prince or the last born of AfroTech. 

He is a proudly self-taught producer. His father introduced him to the world of music production when he was young, and since then, he has dedicated himself to improving as a producer and crafting his own unique sound and identity. He has released multiple singles, and in 2019, he released his debut album, Atmospheric Soundz. He is signed to a label called Stay True Sounds, which was acquired by an international publishing company called Defected. Some of his compositions have been featured on popular local TV shows such as Date My Family, The Queen, and Uzalo. He has toured and performed across multiple countries and continents. He has also collaborated and received mentorship from experienced and established producers and DJs such as Black Coffee, Themba, and Shimza. Still only in his 20’s he has a promising future ahead of him.
