Jinger Stone is a singer and songwriter from Botswana, based in Gaborone. 

 According to a post on her social-media, she completed a “double major degree” in Political Science & Public Administration at University of Botswana.

Jinger Stone is a multi-genre musician whose sound intersects Afro-pop, Amapiano and contemporary Botswana pop music. Her work blends soulful vocals with the energetic rhythms popular in Southern African urban music scenes. Evidence of this includes a recent track, Ke Nna Yo a collaboration with Thakzin that merges Afro-house / Amapiano production with emotionally charged vocals.

Her output has been steadily growing, and she remains active and visible on streaming platforms. For example, she is present on SoundCloud, with tracks such as Stay By Me. 

Recognition & Awards
In 2021, Jinger Stone was awarded the Best Newcomer award at the Yarona FM Music Awards (YAMAs). 

That same awards show also listed one of her songs, Tandira, among the nominees under Best Pop a strong nod to her rising prominence in Botswana’s music scene.
