Open call: Jazzin’ Africa Festival 2026 in Ghana
Jazzin’ Africa Festival has opened applications for artists interested in performing at the second edition of the event, scheduled to take place in Accra, Ghana, from 22 to 24 October 2026.
The application deadline is 1 February.
The 2026 festival, held under the theme Beyond the Sound, will feature a two-day programme beginning with the Jazzin’ Africa Music Workshop on 22 October. According to the organisers, the workshop will bring together participating artists, musicians, students and industry professionals for collaborative and educational activities.
Festival performances will follow on 23 and 24 October, with artists presenting various jazz styles on the main stage. Applicants must be available for all scheduled activities.
Eligible artists must be active performers in contemporary jazz, African jazz or jazz-influenced genres and capable of delivering high-quality live performances. The application requires accurate personal and band information, links to live performance videos or audio samples, a short biography, social media handles, and press photos or an EPK. Artists currently touring in West Africa are encouraged to indicate their tour dates and countries.
Organisers said that all information submitted must be complete and accurate for consideration. Applications must be submitted here before 1 February 2026, and only successful applicants will be contacted.
