Chitimba Camp

Chitimba Camp is a village located on the northern shores of Lake Malawi. It is situated at Karonga, 122 km south of the Malawi/Tanzania border and 143 km from the capital of the north, Mzuzu. What makes the place so popular is the beautiful golden sandy beach that is close to banana palms and papaya trees. It is also surrounded by the famous Livingstonia and Nyika mountains. The place is close to a tarmac road that runs straight through the country, from the border of Tanzania all the way to Lilongwe. Chitimba does not only serve as an accommodation facility but rather plays hosts to a number of entertainment activities. People get entertained through music, dance and music from DJs.
