Kenny Mirasano

Philip Kenny MIRASANO also known as Kenny MIRASANO as a stage name is a Rwandan artist. He is 24 years singer, song writer, actor and playwright.
Kenny hold and a grade 5 music diploma that he earned in 2021 from the Nyundo music school where he specialized in vocals and music traditions. 

His artworks intends to deliver messages of hope, truth, peace and love, as well as reflecting on different untold stories.
Kenny is a sophisticated performer with a boisterous portifolio. He has perfomed on various stages both locally and beyond borders. 

His voice has been heard in different occasions such as  “JAMAFEST 2019” Tanzania, Habari Africa virtual festival 2020, “Les Ateliers de la Pensée” Senegal, Common Wealth Yount Forum 2022, Kigali Up festival, Petit Kesho(theater) France, Visa for Music in Morocco, Hellwach festival in Germany, Talking about silence in Germany, Trienniale de Kigali, Mabara Meza festival …

He mixes Rwandan traditional music (Gakondo) with modern music to form an African hybrid fusion that is uniquely Rwandan and in 2022 he released his debut EP named True Mutu. 

His first album Yewe Muntu was realeased in march 2025. That same month, he went on tour with the Yewe Muntu Tour across Rwanda, doing street performances in cities in villages.

He is also the co-founder of Kaaze Events, a cultural organization that aims to promote the rwandan artistic scene.
