Nhlanhla Manana
Bio
Nhlanhla Manana is a versatile South African composer, band leader, producer, and double bassist. He holds an Advanced Diploma in Performing Arts, majoring in Jazz Composition and Performance, as well as an Honours Degree in Music and a Master's Degree in Heritage Studies from the University of the Witwatersrand. With a rich musical background, Nhlanhla has recorded several jazz albums, including H.O.P.E by Ofenste Sebula, and has shared stages with esteemed jazz musicians such as Concord Nkabinde and Nduduzo Makhathini. As a dedicated music educator, he founded A Generation Music Academy in Orange Farm, nurturing local talent and promoting music development in the community. Currently, Nhlanhla is working on his debut album, Uzuri, a celebration of Africa's beauty and musical heritage.
