Mwansa Music

Mwansa is a critically acclaimed Australian singer, songwriter, artist and designer whose music and designs have won several awards across the world. Living in Perth, Australia, he fell in love with a girl, a classmate in high school who liked music. To capture the attention of his dream girl, he joined the school choir. Luckily for Mwansa, this tactic earned him a girlfriend within weeks and also set him on his musical journey. His real passion however began while attending boarding school in Zambia. At 15, his family relocated to Australia. He got an after school job cleaning a music store and convinced the owner to teach him to play the piano. Two years later, he was teaching piano at that store to junior students. With encouragement from his brother, he started releasing songs on Facebook.

Having only released his first single in February 2014, he has amassed high praise, widespread blog coverage and international recognition. It was only until 2011 after a series of personal events, that he began serious recording. In 2014, he released the critically acclaimed, award winning single ‘Burn this House’.
