Saif El Watoine is a taraab orchestra from Comoros.
In the beginning we play like instruments: oud, violin, mandolin, accordion, drums and congas. Now we play like instruments: leader guitare, Bass, mandolin, drums and congas.
The group has a male and female leader, and choral singers. We play a lot for wedding concerts, during public events and tours in all 4 islands, Madagascar and a tour in France. We released 4 albums. Since, we have been recognized as an orchestra repository of the Comorian musical and cultural heritage that we seek to make known and to share.
