Sifiso Phahlamohlaka popularly known as Dj Rooi from East rand Johannesburg (Gauteng) he is a male born on the 3rd of March 1997 by a woman called Monica Phahlamohlaka

His passion for music started at a younger age where he used to listen to the radio at his uncle’s place so he would always go to visit him only because he loves music he grew up with people older than him because they really showed him guidance and helped him out with meeting allot of guys that are doing events and parties what he enjoyed the most was the part of listening to music then he started to see that he has a passion for music

That's where he started to do research about music he met a lot of guys DJ's, vocalist, instrumental groups and producers that helped him allot and learned more about music In 2010 he started to collect music from his uncle’s house and play them at events but most he was playing at his uncle's place to see the response of people many loved what he was doing he kept on playing for 2years then was introduced to a guy working from SAB who was doing promotions he worked with him then he saw allot of things in the industry

He learned different genre shared a stage with big artist like ,Kabza Da Small, black motion, Kwestar, Moflaver, Lebzathevillain, Shimza, Dj Maphorisa, Mbizo lounge, etc. his passion for music still goes on and on he won't give up and Now he started his own podcast called Chillas with Dj ROOI and his also a proud resident DJ at DKNY LOUNGE
