Matake Studios is an independent record label that operates in the record production and distribution industry. The focus at Matake Studios is on signing new artists within the Jazz, African Jazz, Reggae, and African Traditional Music in the pop, genres as well as providing those individuals with the necessary marketing and promotion to help sell their music and build their brand.

Matake Studios was founded by Farai Machingambi in 2014 and it is a division of Matake Projects Company and based in Pretoria, South Africa.Our company’s vision is to become an internationally distributed record label that is known for promoting and preserving African Ethos and Heritage.
