EARLY LIFE

ADÉKÚNLÉ S. R. ADAKO, known professionally as JENTUPIEZ, was born on October 9, 1983, in Ikere, Ekiti State, Nigeria. He is the fourth child of Mr. Julius Dada and Mrs. Dorcas Bosede Adáko-Fátókun.

EDUCATION

JENTUPIEZ began his elementary education at the age of three and attended St. Mary's Catholic Primary School and St. John's Anglican Primary School from 1988 to 1994. He then proceeded to Annunciation (Catholic) Secondary School, where he completed his secondary education in 2000.

Although his tertiary education remains undisclosed, JENTUPIEZ is known to be self-educated with various skills. He has a keen interest in science and technology, as well as soccer (sport).

MUSICAL CAREER

JENTUPIEZ's passion for music began in his childhood, where he sang and played musical instruments in church. After struggling to choose between engineering, football, and music, he launched his music career in May 2009 with the release of a two-track EP titled 'PINNACLE', tracks, My Norm and Iro Ni.

He subsequently released several albums and singles, including "De Rapson," "Daniella," "I am Jentupiez," and "Thank You Lord." In the process, he established his own record label, DAVE MUSIC WORLDWIDE. Jentupiez has remained an independent artist throughout his career.

MUSICAL INFLUENCES AND STYLE

JENTUPIEZ's musical influences include Bonny M, Michael Jackson, Bob Marley, Lucy Dube, Majek Fashek, Don Moen, Tupac Shakur, and Eminem. By blending Pop, hip-hop/rap, Afro and Reggae genres, he has created his own unique style of music known as Afro-Hip-Pop.

PERSONAL LIFE

JENTUPIEZ is a husband and father. Religious and optimist. He is known for his humanitarian and philanthropic efforts, as well as his disciplined nature. He began growing back his natural dreaded hair in 2014, which he regularly shaved since childhood for academic and religious reasons actually changing his appearance.

SPIRITUAL BELIEFS

Jentupiez was born into a family with diverse spiritual backgrounds. His father is a Catholic Christian, his mother a Pentecostal Christian, his paternal grandfather was an Ifa oracle priest, and his maternal grandfather was a church evangelist. This environment and the upbringing has influenced his preaching and discerning abilities.

Jentupiez believes in the sovereignty of God and has established his DAVE WORLD INTERNATIONAL aka Yahweh Ministry to enlighten people about this concept. He is a registered member of both the Roman Catholic Church and the Christ Apostolic Church.
