Aisha Dawn is an international Singer–DJ from Zimbabwe known for her distinctive hybrid style, blending live vocals with DJing to create high-energy, emotionally charged performances. Her sets move effortlessly across Reggae, House, Amapiano, Afrotech, Afrobeats, and classic crowd favourites, always shaped in real time to match the energy of the room.

Music has been part of Aisha’s life from the beginning. She grew up in Zimbabwe in a deeply musical household as the daughter of reggae artist Man Soul Jah, surrounded by live music and a strong creative community. That early exposure shaped her natural connection to performance and storytelling. She first stepped onto stage as part of the reggae band Man Soul Jah and Pace, developing her voice, confidence, and songwriting skills before releasing her debut single “Baby Boy” as a teenager.

Rather than following a traditional route, Aisha’s artistry developed organically through live performance. Her vocal style is expressive and instinctive, shaped by years of performing in front of audiences rather than formal training. At the same time, she built her DJ foundation in Zimbabwe’s club scene, learning how to read a crowd and shift energy across genres in real time.

As a female DJ in a space that’s still largely male-dominated, Aisha has carved out her own lane as a live vocal DJ performer. As she puts it:
“I always wanted to DJ, but when I was coming up it was not open to women.”

In recent years, she has continued to expand her sound as both a recording and performing artist, releasing tracks including “Ngiyakuthanda,” “Careless,” “Ignite,” and “Ndakavinga Rudo.” Her upcoming reggae project Lyric reflects a return to her roots, with a focus on storytelling and classic reggae influence.

Aisha has performed across Africa, the UAE, Europe, and Asia, and is currently based in China, where she continues to grow her international career. Her shows span clubs, festivals, reggae stages, luxury events, weddings, and brand activations, where she delivers a unique blend of DJing and live vocals that keeps audiences fully engaged from start to finish.

At the core of her artistry is connection — reading the room, lifting the energy, and creating moments that feel personal, no matter the size of the stage.
