Bio

I am the "Locally Grown Internationally Known" alias dj ALjahZEEra; a passionate serial entrepreneur with over 9 years of professional experience with brands across Africa, North America, and the Caribbean in the fields of music business, media content development and audience research, radio broadcasting, disc jockeying, marketing, public relations, creative writing, A & R, events and product development.

I am currently the founder and Business Manager of Music Pharmacy an interactive marketing bureau connecting talents, communities, media, brands, and technology through music. I am also the founder of Giants Link and Promucorp respectively. Two tremendous brands consecrated to refine the entertainment industry and brand advertising inclined to millennials and gen-z globally.

Promucorp is a music marketing agency focused on advancing music business solutions for independent artists and labels in Africa and the Caribbean. Giants Link is a specialist and leader in merchandising/souvenir production. (Products such as custom-made: wristbands, mufflers, cuff links, chains, medals, key holders, lapel pins, gift bags, silk ties, socks, vest, raincoats, caps, hats, tie pins, car vinyl wraps, wristwatches, pen drives, etc.)

I have had over 150 iconic interviews to my credit which include (late 10th richest African artiste Dr. Oliver Mtukudzi – Zimbabwe, Zahara – South Africa, Mr. Vegas, Konshens, Kabaka Pyramid – Jamaica, Kevin Lyttle – St Vincent, Roberto – Zambia, Youssoupha – DR. Congo, Navio – Uganda, Mims, Rich Homie Quan & ErikKingG – the USA, Brian Soko (Grammy Award-winning producer) – Zimbabwe, K.O, Proverb, Kwesta Dakar, HHP, AKA, Ifani – South Africa, Jidenna – Nigeria /USA, Cassidy, Tracey Lee (American Showbiz Attorney), Curtis Young (son of Dr. Dre) – the USA, Stanley Enow – Cameroon, Wyre, Xtatic - Kenya, Bigtril – Uganda, Joan Webley (Jamaican Reggae Industry Association board member and director for constitution & advocacy) – Jamaica, just to name a few. I have premiered, first in Africa, songs from Jamaican dancehall veteran, Mr. Vegas, Virgin Island Grammy award-winning duo, Rock City, Billboard-charting, Trinidad & Tobago soca music queen, Fay Ann Lyon and legendary South African house music disc jockey, DJ Ganyani.

Fast forward, my recent consultancy role from March 2020 has been reviving a veteran Ghanaian music group (Keche) signed under Gem Media as their label manager and A & R where two songs were released; "No Dulling" ft Kuami Eugene and "Good Mood" ft Fameye which have accrued over 20 million streams, winning - Best Group Of The Year, Best Hiplife Song Of The Year - Ghana Music Awards, Best Collaboration Of The Year - 3 Music Award, Best Group of The Year - 4syte Music Video Awards coupled with 12+ nominations.

As an entrepreneur, I have also handled talent bookings for many international artists including Burna Boy, Jidenna, Cassidy, Dru Hill, Yanique, Vershon, BGMFK, Knii Lante, and others for top-teir music events and festivals.

I am interested in connecting with artists/labels who need a strategist, A & R, collaborations plug and music marketing solutions ( Press, Tv, Radio), or placement across anglophone and Francophone Africa....
