Endris Hassen

Endris is one of the most sought-after masenqo players in Ethiopia. He is a member of Ethiocolor, the resident band at Addis Ababa’s Fendika Azmari Bet, and performs with Hager Fikir, Ethiopia’s National Theater. Endris has also performed and collaborated with the likes of Paal Nilssen-Love, The Ex, Imperial Tiger Orchestra and Trio Kazanchis. He has played on more than 600 recordings.
