Phyzix

Noel Jack Chikoleka (born 8 December 1986) is a hip-hop artist from Malawi. He draws his inspirations from hip-hop outfit the Real Elements and Dr. Dre. Best known in the industry as Phyzix, he is a rapper, freestyle artist, songwriter and a business man. He owns Bantu Records Entertainment Company. His music is comical, it touches on people’s everyday experiences.

He has so far released three mixtapes and one album namely ‘The Overdue’ (2006), ‘Black Stars Don't Shine’ (2007), ‘From The Dust’ (2008) and his day view album ‘The Lone Ranger’ (2009).

He has done collaborations with a number of artists like Sway (U.K.) from Konvict Music, UK's Dekker & Johan (Radioclit), The Very Best, KoNd-1, Zinja, Tapps Bandawe, Tay Grin, Theo Thomson, Young Kay, Lulu, Atumwi, Annie Matumbi, Daredevils, Third Eye, Dominant 1, Tigris and Jinx.

He has performed at many events such as the Lake of Stars International Music Festival, WAPi (Words and Pictures), Domestic Tourism Music Festival, La fete de la musique (French Music festival). He has also held local shows in Karonga, Chitipa, Mzuzu, Zomba, Nkhatabay, Bunda, Salima, Mangochi and Blantyre.

Besides music, he has played basketball and represented his country at international level. He studied basic Engineering and Information & Communication Technology.
