LaVeda

LaVeda (born Irene Veda) is a Tanzanian singer and saxophonists from Dar es Salaam.

She grew up in Switzerland and France and completed her studies the UK. With her Western influences from Europe and Tanzanian roots, LaVeda creates a fusion of sounds in her music.

She participated in Big Brother Africa and has demonstrated her musical skills playing the saxophone. LaVeda is fluent in three languages and hopes to propel her career as an African artist in the diaspora.
