Maro

Maro (born Ronald Magada on 7 May 1987) is a pop artist from from Kampala, Uganda. He is well know as the founder of Vocal Police Police Entertainment.

He became popular in the Ugandan music scene after he released the single “Toneeraga” ft Mickie Wine from the Firebase crew. He went on to sign with Westend Entertainment, under which he released the singles 'Sulabulungi' and 'Biweewo'.

Maro parted ways with Westend Entertainment to start his own record label, Police Police Entertainment, in 2012. He gained more popularity after releasing the single 'Baibe' featuring Mya, a former member of all-girl group Blu3. Under the label he released the hit single 'Genda Ewamwe'.

In 2013, Maro organised the Maro Live concert, a show that took place over two days at the Freedom City rooftop and the Crested Crane Hotel.
