Daddy Lumba
Bio
He was born Charles Kwadwo Fosuh, in 1964. He started his career in the late 1980's as part of a duo, Lumba Brothers, with Nana Acheampong. Their first major hit was 'Yeeye Aka Akwantuo Mu'.
He was to branch out as a solo artiste, in the early 1990's and released a string of hits, with albums virtually every year till 2000. Some of these being, 'Bi Ate Meso Bo', 'Sika Asem', 'Ohia Asem', 'Playboy', 'Sesee Wo Se', 'Odo Foforo', 'Biribi Gyegye Wo', 'Back For Good' and many more.
His career has been characterised by his versatility, with his playing several diverse genre, from Highlife, to Hiplife, to Gospel and more. Likewise he is one of the most self sufficient artistes in Ghana, with his own music media production factory. He is also a multiple award winner, with the Ghana Music awards being but one of his many laurels. He continues to record and perform till date.
