Funsho Ogundipe

Bio

Funsho Ogundipe is a Keyboardist, Composer and Producer, who leads the 12-pice avant-garde Afro-Jazz ensemble- Ayetoro.

After a career as a Lawyer and a Banker, he veered into music full-time, with his critically acclaimed hit album "Something dey" in 1997, with the moster-hit "Itchy Fingers". He relocated to the United Kingdom in 2000 and working with an array of the UK's finest Jazz Instrumentalists such as Shabaka Hutchings, Byron Wallen and Angela Alhucema, released a number of albums which won him a strong critical following both in Europe and In Nigeria.

Funsho and Ayetoto have toured extensively around Europe and Africa, performing on stages in the United Kingdom, South Africa and Ghana to name a few.

He has recently completed his latest album, which features a line up of star guest performers such as the prodigiously talented Nneka.
