Johny Afronaut

Trevor Kanye (born November 17, 1988), better known by his stage name Johny Afronaut, is a South African recording artist

His musical career began in earnest with an EP titled ‘It’s About Time’ in 2012 under the moniker ‘Chorus’. It was then well received and critiqued, which helped him to build a reputation for himself in the local Johannesburg rap scene.
Johny’s style is centered on pure lyricism and a smooth flow, with a musical approach influenced by the likes of Wu-Tang Clan and Nas, to fairly avant-garde jazz and funk compositions.
