Ministry of Communications (MoC)

Bio

The Ministry of Communications (MoC) has the core responsibility of initiating and developing national policies aimed at achieving cost effective information and communications infrastructure and services, for the enhancement and promotion of economic competitiveness in line with the policy guidelines of the Medium Term National Development Policy Framework (MTNDPF) developed as the basis of Ghana Shared Growth and Development Agenda (GSGDA) II 2014-2017.

It also has additional responsibility for the empowerment of the people of Ghana through Information dissemination, gathering of feedback, capacity building of the media for ownership of policies, programmes, projects and activities necessary for social and economic transformation.
