Bio
Njang Mengu Collins ,Kocee (formerly known as KO-C),is an award-winning Cameroonian rapper, singer, and songwriter. He is celebrated as "Cameroon's Fastest Rapper" and for blending rap, Afrobeats, and Afro-pop. He currently heads his independent label, Power House Entertainment.
Born and raised in Kumba, Cameroon, Kocee originates from the Bafut tribe in the Northwest region. He completed his secondary and high school education at GBHS Kumba and CCAST Kumba. In 2014, he relocated to Buea and pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Management from the Higher Institute of Management Studies (HIMS).
Kocee initially entered the music scene in 2015 as part of the group PIM Boys before launching his solo career. He later became widely known for his rapid-fire rap delivery, earning him the title of Cameroon’s fastest rapper.
Over the years, he has successfully transitioned into singing and Afrobeats, producing some of Cameroon's biggest urban hits. His breakout solo single, "Balancé," and hit tracks like "Caleçon" (featuring Coco Argentée) and "Credit Alert" (featuring Nigerian superstar Patoranking) have garnered millions of streams.
In early 2026, he officially rebranded his stage name from KO-C to Kocee to avoid international branding risks and mispronunciation ,He made history as the first Cameroonian urban artist to fill up the Olympia in Montreal, Canada.
KO-C released his debut album, Genesis, in 2022.He has been recognized at major ceremonies like the Urban Jamz Awards and the Kunde Awards.
Beyond music, Kocee is actively involved in community giving. He is known for using his platform to cover school fees and support families in need across Cameroon, including sponsoring the education of the daughter of the late singer Fhish.
