VIKI’s dual-threat capability as both a songwriter and technical engineer allows him a rare level of creative autonomy in his production. While rooted in the vibrant culture of his native Okene, Kogi State, his music reflects the cosmopolitan energy of Nigeria's capital city.

His musical foundation was laid early at the Entertainment Theatre Academy, where he completed his primary and secondary education before later earning a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. This technical background informs his work today as a skilled sound engineer, giving him complete creative autonomy over his sonic output.
Originally known as Vicbeatz, he rebranded to VIKI to reflect a more personal and evolved artistic identity. He first made waves in 2013 with his debut single, "Reckless," and has since seen his profile rise significantly with his latest release, "Lost Soul."
