The event, which is held annually in celebration of Africa Day, will also feature Yugen Blakrok, Brandon Aura and Xolani Sithole.
Organisers also confirmed the addition of winners from the Rhythmic Clash talent search competition to the line-up. The selected performers are Zinhle Madela, Flex of He and I and Shef in the Kitchen.
Bassline Fest organiser Brad Holmes said the inclusion of emerging artists formed part of the festival’s focus on artist development and talent discovery.
“Bassline’s ongoing commitment to artist development and talent discovery [is about] creating a platform where emerging voices can share the stage with some of the continent’s most celebrated performers,” he said.
Holmes added that this year’s edition reflects a period of growth and visibility for several of the featured performers.
“This is a festival of artists in motion. Bassline Fest 2026 arrives at a moment of major artistic momentum for its headline acts,” he said.
According to organisers, gates will open at midday, with performances scheduled to continue until 8pm. Bassline Fest is presented in association with Castle Lite and Joburg Tourism, with support from the National Arts Council of South Africa.
Tickets for the event are priced at R300 and are available through Webtickets.
