The event, curated and owned by Music Business Academy Southern Africa, will take place at the FNB KwaZulu-Natal headquarters in Umhlanga at 6 p.m.
MBN said the Durban session forms part of its national expansion strategy aimed at supporting skills development and professional networking within South Africa’s music industry.
The platform is expected to bring together participants from across the sector, including artists, managers, producers, DJs, record label executives, publishers, distributors, event promoters and other creative entrepreneurs.
Organisers said the session is designed to provide industry insights and facilitate professional connections through discussions led by sector practitioners.
The programme will include a series of short presentations and conversations with industry professionals focusing on business and career development in the music sector.
The event will be delivered in partnership with several organisations, including FNB, SAMRO and Downtown Music Publishing. Other partners include KUMISA and additional industry stakeholders.
According to organisers, the partnerships are intended to strengthen the commercial and operational foundations of the music industry.
Event details indicate that attendance will be free, but limited due to venue capacity.
