FBLCSTAR and FBL AFRICA release new single PLAY LATER
Atlanta rapper FBLCSTAR has released a new single titled ‘PLAY LATER’, in collaboration with FBL AFRICA, as the pair continue to build on their cross-continental hip-hop partnership.
FBLCSTAR.
The track, produced by Antii, follows their previous collaboration ‘BETTER DAYS’ and further strengthens links between the United States and African hip hop scenes. It is now available on major streaming platforms.
‘PLAY LATER’ is built around a motivational theme centred on prioritising work over celebration, with a focus on discipline and ambition. The song features a melodic rap production style and lyrics that emphasise long-term success over short-term gratification.
The release is under the FBL (FlyBoyLifestyle) collective, which describes itself as a creative network built around unity, growth and success across music and culture.
The track has already been featured on editorial playlists on Apple Music, including New in Hip-Hop and New Music Daily, increasing its visibility on streaming platforms.
FBLCSTAR, who is also the brother of rapper FBLMANNY, has been steadily releasing music and collaborating internationally as he builds his profile within hip-hop.
In promotional messaging around the release, the song is framed around a central message of persistence and focus, encapsulated in the phrase: “stay hungry, don’t get comfortable.”
The release of ‘PLAY LATER’ is expected to be supported by further promotional activity, including social media campaigns and additional visual content.
