Karyn White to make Cape Town debut at Kirstenbosch Gardens
American R&B singer Karyn White is scheduled to perform in Cape Town for the first time on Thursday, 2 April 2026, at Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens.

The concert, organised in association with BreakOut Events, will feature South African singer Ami Faku as the supporting act.
White, a two-time Grammy Award nominee and Billboard Music Award recipient, is known for songs including “Superwoman”, “Romantic” and “The Way You Love Me”. The performance is expected to feature a selection of her established material alongside newer releases.
Her latest single, “You’re Gonna Want Me Back”, was released earlier this year and marks her return to recording. The track reflects a continuation of her career in R&B and soul, genres in which she gained prominence in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
South Africa has remained a consistent market for White, with “Superwoman” continuing to receive airplay on local radio stations. Industry observers note that her music has maintained cross-generational appeal in the country.
The concert will take place against the backdrop of Table Mountain at Kirstenbosch, a venue known for hosting outdoor live music events.
Ticket prices start from R595, excluding fees, and are available through Webtickets.
