Bio

Lyrikal Busta is a multi-award-winning hip-hop and Afro-fusion artist from the Kingdom of Eswatini. Known for his versatile sound and powerful storytelling, he has become one of the notable voices in the country’s urban music scene. His music blends hip-hop, Afrobeats, and dance influences while promoting African identity and the movement “Swati Music To The World.”

Lyrikal Busta’s career gained momentum with early award-winning songs such as “Dance For Me” and “INumber,” which helped establish him as a rising artist in Eswatini’s music industry. Over the years, he has released several popular tracks including “Bavumile,” “Bantfwabami,” and “Estradini.” His 2023 debut album AfroBliss showcased his versatility as he experimented with Afro-soul and other genres beyond hip-hop. 

One of his biggest recent songs is “Mtukulu,” released in 2025 and featuring South African artist Intaba Yase Dubai. The single quickly gained traction online, surpassing 30,000 Spotify streams within a month and expanding his audience beyond Eswatini. The two artists had previously collaborated on the song “365 Days,” which accumulated over a million views across platforms. 

Throughout his career, Lyrikal Busta has collaborated with several artists across Southern Africa. Some of the notable names he has worked with include Thabiso Thabethe, Flash Ikumkani, Berry Jive on the song “Tsena,” as well as Siya Shezi and Liz Harris on “Estradini.” He has also appeared on “Sheleni” with Grixxly and Sarnilo, and “Inkhanyeti” with As 4 Jerry P, further expanding his reach in the regional hip-hop scene. 

As his career continues to grow, Lyrikal Busta remains committed to pushing Eswatini music onto the global stage through international collaborations and culturally inspired music.
