Sjava and top SA artists to perform at Jozi Kota Festival
The annual Jozi Kota Festival will take place on 25 April at The Station on Miriam Makeba Street, bringing together some of South Africa’s leading musical talents alongside a celebration of kasi cuisine.

The festival, which runs from 10:00 to 22:00, features artists including Sjava, Big Zulu, Nasty C, Kabza De Small, KO, Blxckie, Emtee, Lwah Ndlunkulu, Young Stunna, Focalistic, Toss, Xowla, 25K, and many others. DJs including DJ ZanD, DJ Keyz, and DJ Spokza will also perform.
The festival is hosted by prominent South African presenters Somizi Mhlongo, Napo Modise, and Kilojays, ensuring a lively and engaging atmosphere throughout the day.
Founded in 2019, the Jozi Kota Festival has become the country’s largest kota-themed festival. In addition to the musical performances, the event supports local entrepreneurs, with vendors showcasing their unique bunny chow recipes. Kota vendors also have the opportunity to compete for a share of R10,000 by applying via www.storeller.co.za.
The festival is hip-hop themed, with a South-African-inspired dress code, and aims to provide a family-friendly environment filled with music, food, and entertainment. Tickets start at R50 and are available exclusively online through Computicket; no tickets will be sold at the gate.
The Jozi Kota Festival continues to celebrate both South African music and cuisine while promoting local entrepreneurship.
