Sizwe Mzolo

Sizwe Mzolo is a South African executive producer and media strategist with more than two decades of experience working across film, television, advertising and branded content within African and internationally distributed platforms. His work spans the full production value chain — from concept development and pitching to production, post-production and final delivery — with a strong focus on structured execution, brand integrity and deadline-driven delivery.

He is the founder and managing director of Mshiswa Group, where he leads television, film and commercial productions, coordinating creative teams, budgets and stakeholder alignment for broadcast-ready outputs. His previous role at African Global Entertainment Networks (AGE Networks) included overseeing media and advertising campaigns for both public-sector and corporate clients such as the Road Accident Fund, SALGA and various government departments.

Earlier in his career, he worked on well-known South African television productions including Zola 7 (SABC1), Kaizer Chiefs TV (SuperSport/DStv), Coca Cola Football Stars (eTV) and Takalani Sesame. His experience ranges from research and directing to series producing and executive creative leadership.

Beyond commercial media, Mzolo operates within the social impact sector as CEO and Secretary-General of the Dr Thulani Ngwenya Foundation, where he leads governance support, programme strategy, fundraising coordination and public communications for community initiatives.

He is also the co-founder of the Scoring for TV and Digital Media Workshop, a professional development initiative supporting composers and media practitioners. The workshop hosted a highly regarded industry event on 6 December 2025 at AMP Studios in Newtown, funded by the National Arts Council (NAC), bringing together emerging creatives and established industry professionals for practical skills development and knowledge exchange.

His practice bridges creative production and organisational management, specialising in stakeholder relations, communications strategy and structured programme delivery across cultural and corporate environments.
